BBC - Home of real journalists

On the way home from work at an idiotic hour, I happened on aninterview on the BBC World Service with Tony Blair (the interviewer was Jeremy Paxman).

All I can say was HOLY SHIT!!! Paxman was asking rapid fire tough questions, he would interrupt Blair if he thought he was stonewalling, and was rather combativethroughout the entire interview. If Tim Russert ever tried to interview GW Bush like this, he would be pilloried in the press.

To his credit, Blair did his best to defend himself, albeit unsuccessfully. He sounded exponentially more intelligent and coherent than the leader of this country.

It seems the free press is alive and well... in the UK.
