Today the GOP House with a little help from some Democrats repealed the estate tax. Now, this won't automatically become law, as they will have to get the Senate on board.
The next time you hear a congressman going on about how Social Security is going to run out of money, ask him why he wanted to enact a tax cut that will HUGELY benefit .5% (that Point 5) of people in this country when that money could have gone toward helping make Social Security solvent for 90% of people who really need it in this country.
To quote the great Jack Warden in Used Cars, "These people are human scum."
